The first thing to do when reloading a bullet is to get your
shells ready, and lubricate them with a special grease made for bullets. Next,
you secure them in the press and turn the handle 180 degrees and the shell
should go straight up into the top of the press and the primer should pop out,
if it doesn’t and your shell will not come out, then you have not used enough
lubricant. To remove it without damaging the resizer, you unscrew the die and
screw it back in upside down, next, screw hole in the bottom of the bullet with
a special screw that allows a bolt to go in. next take a bolt that will fit
through the hole and put two nuts on it, then screw it in and the pressure with
pull the bullet shell off the die and if the resizer is still inside the shell,
make the hole in the front of the shell big enough to allow the resizer to
slide out. These steps are only if you get your bullet jammed, in continuing
the procedure of properly reloading a bullet, lubricate it, then turn the
handle and the old primer should pop out and fall into the container. The next
step in reloading is to put in a new primer, for this there is a miniature
press and the way it works is you turn it so that the new primer slides into
place and squeeze the handle until it goes all the way in. Next calculate how
much gunpowder to use, and put it in the shell, be very carful not to spill any
of it, put the nice new bullet on the shell with the powder and place it in the
press, pull the handle down and depending on how much powder you used, there
may or may not be a crunch. After removing your bullet you should have a nice
new beautiful result.
Below
there is a diagram showing the parts of a bullet, number 1 shows the nice new
bullet, number 2 shows the shell filled with gunpowder, number three is the
gunpowder itself, number 4 is the bottom of the shell with the rim, and number
five is the primer.
