A Close Wildlife Encounter
I had quite an adventure this morning, it started when the puppies woke Mom and Dad up in the middle of the night, they were barking so much that we suspected there was a predator, but Dad didn’t have time to see what it was because he was so busy. However, in the morning I had to go to spray the plants and while I did that my brother Everett looked around outside for a while but he didn’t find anything so he went back to the house to finish his school. A little while after, the puppies again started barking so I came out to see what all the commotion was about. As I rounded the corner, not thirty feet away was a large cow moose. I was so surprised to see it for a second I didn’t know what to do, so I ran and told Everett. He came out and confirmed that it was actually a bull moose and decided to chase it off with pellets, making it trot down the path into the forest. It was the first time I had ever seen a moose so close before and I will never forget that incredible experience!
